VITRA SUMMER WORKSHOP

Ecal sponsorised us for a summer Vitra workshop in France.
We worked under the assistance of Daniel Charny (RCA), Roberto Feo  (RCA, Ultmo Gritto) and Nick Crosby (RCA, Inflate).
The main idea of the workshop was to build things out of nothing, with rubbish we could find in the area.
We first had to mock up animals with these elementary materials. Then, after choosing one of the realised animals, each one of us had to reproduce this animal,
Another exercice was to invent a new type of swing represented by a small model, made again with the simple materials at our disposal.
The last stage of the work was to realise this swing in 1:1 model.
